Michael Sherman Michael is a Principal of Crestone and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In addition, Michael oversees management of Crestone’s Investment Advisory and Investment Consulting groups. Professional Background. Michael has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. He advises clients on overall wealth management, focusing on investment management (including investment policy statement, asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing services, and broad economic and market analysis), financial and cash flow planning and wealth preservation strategies. In addition, Michael is active in searching for new investment opportunities as well as overseeing current investment manager relationships. Michael joined The Eric J. Kramer Company, the predecessor to Crestone, in 1992. Other Professional Activities. Michael is a Director of Diamond Wire Technologies, a development stage company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Diamond Wire is currently commercializing a proprietary technology for cutting silicon wafers. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of four private equity fund of funds offerings of Fort Washington, an affiliate of Western & Southern, including Fort Washington Private Equity Investors Funds II, III and IV, and WSL Partners, LP, a fund focused on distressed sellers in the secondary market. Education and Accreditations. Michael received his BS degree (Finance – with an emphasis in Accounting) from the University of Colorado in 1990. Michael is a NASD Registered Representative holding Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
