Lou is Managing Director of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio, a legal firm engaged in the general practice of law and business consulting with approximately 200 attorneys and over 400 total employees. Prior to Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, Lou was Chief Executive Office at New Ventures, at The Sheakley Group of Companies, a national consulting firm specializing in cost control for employee benefit programs and other human resource cost containment areas.
Lou was previously Managing Director at myCFO, a financial services firm
headquartered in Redwood City, California, with offices nationwide. Before
that position, Lou was a national partner at Deloitte & Touche. Lou
joined Deloitte & Touche in 1975 and was admitted as a tax partner
in 1984. While at Deloitte & Touche, Lou held many senior management
positions, including serving as the National Partner in Charge of Firm
Acquisitions and Real Estate Tax Services, the National Director of Property
Tax Services, and the Associate Director of Tax Technology.
Lou received his BS degree (Accounting) from West Virginia University,
graduating magna cum laude. Lou is a CPA and a member of the American
Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the West Virginia Society
of CPAs. He is a past Board Member of the International Association of
Financial Planners.
Lou has been significantly involved in civic and community activities.
He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Port of Greater Cincinnati
Development Authority, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical
Center, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, The Springer School,
Summit Country Day School, and many other community organizations.
