Eric Kramer

Eric is a Principal of Crestone and is Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. In addition, Eric oversees management of the firm’s real estate investment asset class.

Professional Background. Eric has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He advises clients on overall wealth management, focusing on investment management (including investment policy statement, asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing services, and broad economic and market analysis), financial and cash flow planning and wealth preservation strategies.

Eric has served as primary financial advisor to entrepreneurs, business owners and senior corporate executives in a wide range of industries. He has managed client-related mergers and acquisitions of up to $130 million in transaction size. In addition, he has been an active principal and advisor in commercial real estate investments since 1989.

Eric founded The Eric J. Kramer Company, the predecessor to Crestone, in 1991. Previously, he was a financial advisor for 10 years with Capital Analysts, Inc. and 2 of its affiliates, in Denver, Colorado.

Other Professional Activities. Eric is a member of the Colorado Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of McStain Enterprises, Inc., one of Denver’s top 10 home builders/master planned community developers, and Blue Sky West, an outdoor recreation provider in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Education and Accreditations. Eric received his BS degree (Finance) from the University of Colorado in 1981. He attended the Denver University Graduate Tax Program and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and NASD Registered Representative holding Series 6, 7, 22, 24 and 63 licenses.
