Doug Bonnette

Doug is a Principal of Crestone and is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director of Portfolio Accounting. In addition, Doug oversees management of client private equity services, including cash flow planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, and capitalization analysis. As the firm’s COO, he oversees client portfolio accounting and manages company systems and procedures, internal financial reporting and personnel. Doug joined The Eric J. Kramer Company, the predecessor to Crestone, in 1999.

Professional Background. Doug has over 27 years of experience in financial and business management. Before joining Crestone, Doug was Vice President of Finance at Rental Service Corporation, an $800 million NYSE equipment rental company. His primary responsibilities included merger and acquisition valuation and accounting for over 35 transactions valued individually at up to $100 million. Doug was also responsible for various investor relations issues, secondary stock offerings and debt financing transactions. Before Rental Service Corporation, Doug was CFO for nearly 10 years at Center Rental and Sales, a $50 million privately-held construction equipment rental company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Before that position, Doug was CFO for 3 years at Guerdon Industries, a $120 million privately-held manufacturing company. Doug started his professional career at Ernst & Ernst in 1979.

Other Professional Activities. Doug is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Colorado Society of CPAs, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Doug is actively involved in The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Inc. community mentoring program, is a board member of Colorado UpLift and is a past chairman of the Career Education Committee of the Colorado Society of CPAs.

Education and Accreditations. Doug received his BS degree in Accounting from Miami University in 1978. Doug holds the NASD Series 27 license as the Financial Operations Principal for the firm and is a CPA licensed in the state of Colorado.
